  A THUNDERSTORM OVER ODESSA AND VICINITY PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN.
  HEAVY RAIN IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE ODESSA AND GARDENDALE THROUGH 8

...A FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1000 AM CDT FOR
EASTERN ECTOR COUNTY...

AT 947 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATES THAT
THE RAIN THAT PROMPTED THE WARNING HAS MOVED OUT OF THE AREA.  THE 
HEAVIEST RAIN FELL SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 20...SOME LOCATIONS COULD STILL
HAVE PONDING ON AREA ROADWAYS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. MOST FLOODING DEATHS ARE PREVENTABLE. TURN
