THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF 

       SOUTHEAST ARKANSAS
       NORTHERN LOUISIANA

EFFECTIVE THIS MONDAY MORNING AND AFTERNOON FROM 1000 AM UNTIL 400
PM CST.

TORNADOES...HAIL TO 1.5 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND
GUSTS TO 70 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE
AREAS.

THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS ALONG AND 50 STATUTE MILES EAST AND WEST
OF A LINE FROM 40 MILES WEST SOUTHWEST OF ALEXANDRIA LOUISIANA TO
55 MILES NORTHEAST OF LITTLE ROCK ARKANSAS.

THROUGH THE DAY AS DAYTIME HEATING DESTABILIZES AIRMASS.  STRONG LOW
LEVEL VERTICAL SHEAR WILL POSE A RISK OF SUPERCELLS WITH ISOLATED
TORNADOES...AS WELL AS DAMAGING WINDS AND HAIL.

AVIATION...TORNADOES AND A FEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH HAIL
SURFACE AND ALOFT TO 1.5 INCHES. EXTREME TURBULENCE AND SURFACE
