THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ST LOUIS HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
  NORTHERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS

* UNTIL 915 PM CDT

* AT 841 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WITH STRONG ROTATION 8 MILES WEST OF
  FARMERSVILLE. THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH...AND MAY PRODUCE
  A TORNADO AT ANY TIME FUNNEL CLOUDS HAVE BEEN REPORTED WITH THIS
  STORM NEAR PALMYRA IN MACOUPIN COUNTY. THE STORM HAS ALSO PRODUCED
  GOLFBALL SIZE HAIL NEAR GIRARD.

  INTERSTATE 55 NEAR FARMERSVILLE

BEHIND YOU...TRY TO MOVE IN A DIRECTION WHICH IS AT A RIGHT ANGLE AND
AWAY FROM THE TORNADOES MOVEMENT.

DO NOT SEEK SHELTER UNDER A HIGHWAY OVERPASS. BE AWARE THAT HIGHWAY
BRIDGES DO NOT PROVIDE ADEQUATE PROTECTION AND CAN ENHANCE THE STRONG
WINDS OF A TORNADO.
