THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NORTHERN INDIANA HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  MIAMI COUNTY IN INDIANA

* UNTIL 445 AM EST

* AT 324 AM EST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
  THAT THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL HAD MOVED SOUTHWEST OF MIAMI COUNTY.    
  HOWEVER... RADAR ESTIMATES THAT OVER 6 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN   
  OVER SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF THE COUNTY TONIGHT... INCLUDING THE PIPE 
  CREEK AREA SOUTH OF PERU.  LAW ENFORCEMENT INDICATED THAT SOME     
  HOMES HAD BEEN EVACUATED TO AVOID FLOOD WATERS. 

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.
