THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BIRMINGHAM HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CALHOUN COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL ALABAMA

* UNTIL 400 AM CDT

* AT 1029 PM CDT...WIDESPREAD FLASH FLOODING WAS REPORTED OVER 
PORTIONS OF CALHOUN COUNTY.   THIS WARNING EXTENDS THE PREVIOUS 
WARNING.  ALTHOUGH THE HEAVY RAINS HAVE MOVED OUT OF THE 
AREA...WATERS CONTINUE TO RISE IN SOME LOCATIONS.  FLOODING IS 
EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH THE EARLY MORNING HOURS.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY
IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
