THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SAN ANGELO HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  SHACKELFORD COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS

* UNTIL 130 PM CDT

* AT 1249 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR AND WEATHER SPOTTERS REPORTED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 9 MILES WEST OF ALBANY.  THE STORM WAS 
NEARLY   STATIONARY. QUARTER SIZE HAIL WAS REPORTED WITH THIS STORM 
NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF HIGHWAYS 180 AND 351 AT 1248 PM.

HAILSTONES UP TO ONE INCH ARE LIKELY WITH THIS STORM. MOVE TO AN 
INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF A STURDY BUILDING AND STAY AWAY 
FROM WINDOWS.

ACROSS THE BIG COUNTRY LATE THIS MORNING. ISENTROPIC LIFT AND
SHORTWAVE IMPULSES ALOFT ARE AIDING IN THIS PROCESS. ISOLATED SHOWERS
OCCURRING FARTHER SOUTH. TEMPERATURES HAVE REMAINED NEARLY STEADY
THROUGH THE MORNING...AND HAVE ACTUALLY FALLEN A COUPLE OF DEGREES AT
ABILENE. WITH PERSISTENT CLOUDCOVER THROUGH THE AFTERNOON AND WEDGE
OF COOL AIR REMAINING OVER THE REGION...EXPECT LITTLE TEMPERATURE
RECOVERY. BASED ON THUNDERSTORM AND TEMPERATURE TRENDS...WILL SEND A
ZONE UPDATE TO BOOST POPS ACROSS THE BIG COUNTRY. WILL ALSO CUT HIGH
