THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
  WESTERN CAMDEN COUNTY IN CENTRAL MISSOURI

* UNTIL 345 AM CST

* AT 316 AM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING
  A TORNADO 9 MILES NORTHEAST OF HERMITAGE...OR 24 MILES WEST OF   
  CAMDENTON. THE PARENT THUNDERSTORM WAS RACING NORTHEAST AT 55 MPH.

* THE TORNADO WILL REMAIN OVER MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF CAMDEN 
  COUNTY... AFFECTING THE TOWNS OF CLIMAX SPRINGS...BARNUMTON... 
  PURVIS AND SUNRISE BEACH. 

THIS IS AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND LIFE THREATENING SITUATION SEEK 
SAFE SHELTER IMMEDIATELY. THIS STORM HAS A VERY LONG HISTORY OF 
PRODUCING DESTRUCTIVE TORNADOES.

IF IN MOBILE HOMES OR VEHICLES...EVACUATE THEM AND GET INSIDE A
STURDY SHELTER. IF NO SHELTER IS AVAILABLE...LIE FLAT IN THE NEAREST
DITCH OR OTHER LOW SPOT AND COVER YOUR HEAD WITH YOUR HANDS.
