* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...

  CLAY COUNTY IN NORTHWEST MINNESOTA...
  CASS COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA...
  OTTER TAIL COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA AND  
  WILKIN COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA.

* UNTIL 445 PM CDT.

* AT 1041 AM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED SLOW
  MOVING THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM
  MAPLETON TO 7 MILES SOUTHEAST OF ALMORA...OR ALONG A LINE EXTENDING
  FROM 10 MILES WEST OF FARGO TO 40 MILES EAST OF FERGUS FALLS.      
  LITTLE MOVEMENT WAS INDICATED BY RADAR. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL   
  PERSIST INTO EARLY AFTERNOON...BEFORE SLOWLY MOVING OUT OF THE     
  AREA.

RADAR ESTIMATES OF 1 TO 1.5 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN OVER THE PAST 
HOUR...WITH ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS THROUGH EARLY AFTERNOON OF 
UP TO 2 INCHES POSSIBLE ACROSS THE ENTIRE REGION. THIS INCLUDES THE 
CITY OF FARGO...FERGUS FALLS...ROTHSAY...SABIN AND PELICAN RAPIDS. 

THIS WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF LOW LYING AND URBAN AREAS...AND PRODUCE 
RAPID RISES ON AREA RIVERS AND STREAMS.

MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR
VEHICLE INTO WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH. ONE OR TWO FEET OF WATER WILL
FLOAT MOST CARS DOWNSTREAM.
