THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND FORKS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...

  SARGENT COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA.

* UNTIL 230 AM CDT.

* AT 821 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED SLOW
  MOVING THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN...MOVEMENT WAS TO THE SOUTHEAST AT
  30 MPH.

* FORMAN...CAYUGA AND GENESEO WILL BE AFFECTED BY THE HEAVY RAIN. 
  RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 3 INCHES HAVE BEEN REPORTED FROM NEAR CRETE
  AND STIRUM TO JUST WEST OF FORMAN. ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL IS
  EXPECTED FROM FORMAN TO RUTLAND AND CAYUGA OVER THE NEXT COUPLE
  HOURS. 

MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR
VEHICLE INTO WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH. ONE OR TWO FEET OF WATER WILL
FLOAT MOST CARS DOWNSTREAM.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN THE DANGERS OF FLASH FLOODING
ARE HARD TO RECOGNIZE.
