THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...                  
  KENDALL...INCLUDING THE CITY OF BOERNE...
  BEXAR...INCLUDING THE SAN ANTONIO METROPOLITAN AREA...

* UNTIL 8 PM CDT

* AT 5 PM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY       
  RAIN OVER PARTS OF THE CITY OF SAN ANTONIO AND EASTERN BEXAR       
  COUNTY.  MOVEMENT WAS TOWARD THE NORTH AT 15 MPH.

* THE THUNDERSTORM WITH EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL BE...
  IN KENDALL COUNTY AND BOERNE WITHIN THE HALF HOUR.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF 
CREEKS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES.  ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY ROADS AND 
FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND RIVERSS AND OTHER LOW-LYING 
AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE 
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO 
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED 
QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
