THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
  HAYS
  CALDWELL
  COMAL

* UNTIL 1000 PM CDT

* AT 700 PM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF 
STRONG THUNDERSTORMS FROM SCHERTZ TO MARTINDALE PRODUCING RAINFALL 
RATES OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR.  MOVEMENT IS TO THE NORTH AT 25 
MPH.  THE LINE SHOULD MOVE TO NEAR NEW BRAUNFELS...SAN MARCOS AND 
LOCKHART BY  715 PM.  BE ALERT FOR FLOODING OF LOW WATER 
CROSSINGS...STREAMS AND OTHER LOW-LYING AREAS.  POOR VISIBILITIES ON 
HIGHWAYS ARE ALSO A THREAT.  
  
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE 
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS 
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. 
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
