SOUTHERN KENEDY COUNTY IN DEEP SOUTH TEXAS * UNTIL 545 PM CDT * AT 354 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR IN BROWNSVILLE INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL 18 MILES SOUTH OF THE BORDER PATROL CHECKPOINT ON HIGHWAY 77...OR 19 MILES NORTH OF RAYMONDVILLE...MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 5 TO 10 MPH. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED THAT THESE STORMS ARE PRODUCING RAINFALL AMOUNTS FROM 2 TO 4 INCHES OVER A ONE HOUR PERIOD. * SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE WARNED AREA.
