SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF

   NORTHWEST MINNESOTA                          
   CENTRAL AND EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA                       

EFFECTIVE THIS SUNDAY MORNING FROM 445 AM UNTIL 1000 AM CDT.

HAIL TO 2 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO 70
MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.

THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH AREA IS ALONG AND 105 STATUTE MILES
EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 65 MILES SOUTH OF JAMESTOWN NORTH
DAKOTA TO 30 MILES WEST NORTHWEST OF GRAND FORKS NORTH DAKOTA.

EMBEDDED BOW ECHOES WITH GREATER THAN 50 KT RADIAL VELOCITIES NOTED
ON KBIS DOPPLER RADAR...SUGGESTING THREAT FOR DAMAGING WIND GUSTS. 
MOIST UNSTABLE AIR MASS AHEAD OF THE LINE COUPLED WITH WELL-DEFINED
COLD POOL/MESOHIGH BEHIND THE LINE SUPPORTS MODEL FORECASTS OF MCS
CONTINUING INTO NWRN MN AFTER SUNRISE.
