THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND FORKS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...

  BENSON COUNTY IN NORTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA AND
  EDDY COUNTY IN NORTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA.

* UNTIL 1000 AM CDT

* AT 558 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN OF OVER AN INCH PER HOUR WILL MOVE TO 
THE EAST AT 30 MPH ACROSS EDDY AND BENSON COUNTIES.

* MADDOCK...LEEDS...NEW ROCKFORD...BAKER AND KNOX WILL BE AFFECTED BY
  THE HEAVY RAIN. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF UP TO ONE AND HALF INCHES HAS  
  ALREADY BEEN ESTIMATED BY RADAR AND ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINS AREA   
  EXPECTED. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF UP TO 2 TO FOUR INCHES ARE POSSIBLE   
  OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS CAUSING FLOODING OF                  
  STREETS...COUNTRY ROADS AND BASEMENTS.

MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR
VEHICLE INTO WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH. ONE OR TWO FEET OF WATER WILL
FLOAT MOST CARS DOWNSTREAM.
