THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RALEIGH HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  ANSON COUNTY IN NORTH CAROLINA

* UNTIL 215 AM EDT

* AT 1110 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED VERY
  HEAVY RAIN OVER ANSON COUNTY. RADAR ESTIMATES SHOW AS MUCH AS
  THREE INCHES OF RAIN BETWEEN 10 AND 11 PM NEAR THE ANSONVILLE AREA.

* THERE HAVE REPORTS OF FLOODING OF STREETS IN ANSONVILLE. SMALL
  STREAMS WERE BEGINNING TO COME OUT OF THEIR BANKS IN THE NORTHERN
  PORTION OF THE COUNTY.

* THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO PERSIST THROUGH 1 AM
  PRODUCING ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR.

* RESIDENTS NEAR STREAMS AND CREEKS SHOULD SEEK HIGHER GROUND.
