GONZALES COUNTY IN TEXAS LAVACA COUNTY IN TEXAS FAYETTE COUNTY IN TEXAS * UNTIL 530 PM CDT * THUNDERSTORMS ARE MERGING OVER GONZALES...FAYETTE AND LAVACA COUNTIES THIS AFTERNOON PRODUCING RAINFALL RATES OF TWO INCHES PER HOUR. RUNOFF FROM THESE STORMS WILL PRODUCE FLASH FLOODING OF LOW WATER CROSSINGS AND LOW LYING AREAS. RAIN IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT HOUR OR TWO BEFORE SAGGING SOUTHWARD TOWARD THE COAST. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY.
