THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RALEIGH HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD WARNING FOR SOUTHEASTERN AND SOUTH CENTRAL MOORE COUNTY

* UNTIL 1130 PM EST

* SOME AREAS AND STREAMS AFFECTED:
  .HIGHWAY 22 ALONG THE LITTLE RIVER NEAR WHISPERING PINES.
  .THE RIVERVIEW SUBDIVISION AT THE CONFLUENCE OF THE LITTLE RIVER
    AND CRANE CREEK EAST OF VASS.

* BASIS FOR WARNING:
  MOORE COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT REPORTS THAT 9 ROADS REMAIN
  CLOSED ACROSS THE COUNTY THIS EVENING AND WATER CONTINUES TO RISE
  IN THE RIVERVIEW SUBDIVISION EAST OF VASS.

PEOPLE ESPECIALLY IN AND AROUND VASS AND WHISPERING PINES SHOULD
MONITOR FLOOD CONDITIONS...AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO HIGHER
GROUND...SHOULD FLOODWATERS THREATEN.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING.
