894 WUUS1 KMOB 071409 RRA SVRMOB ALC099-071515- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MOBILE AL 808 AM CST WED JAN 7 1998 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOBILE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 915 AM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTHWEST ALABAMA ...MONROE COUNTY AT 807 AM CST...MOBILE DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ADVANCING INTO SOUTHERN MONROE COUNTY. THIS THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT THE TOWN OF FRISCO CITY AROUND 835 AM. WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH ARE EXPECTED WITH THIS THUNDERSTORM. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
