IN SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI ...FORREST COUNTY...LAMAR COUNTY AT 944 PM CST JACKSON DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ABOUT 5 MILES WEST OF PURVIS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 50 MPH. THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL MOVE INTO THE HATTIESBURG AREA BY 10 PM CST. DAMAGING WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH ARE LIKELY WITH THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT.
