000 TTAA00 KJAN 110037 RRA TORJAN MSC083-110115- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON MS 637 PM CST TUE FEB 10 1998 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN JACKSON HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 715 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTH CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI ...LEFLORE COUNTY AT 637 PM DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A TORNADIC THUNDERSTORM JUST WEST OF SWIFTOWN. THE STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 65 MPH. SOME CITIES IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM INCLUDE ITTA BENA AND GREENWOOD. NUMEROUS POWERLINES WERE DOWNED BY HIGH WINDS WITH THIS STORM 3 MILES NORTHWEST OF BELZONI AT 630 PM.
