AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GREENVILLE-SPARTANBURG SC 240 PM EDT THU JUN 4 1998 VERY BUSY. DID NOT GET THE BEST LOOK AT MDL DATA SINCE THEY WERE LATE AND SVR WX IN CWA. LOOKS LIKE FNT TO WOBBLE ACROSS CWA THRU PERIOD. APPEARS TO MOVE INTO SRN CWA DURING SAT. SEVERAL SHORT WAVES MOVE OVER CWA THRU PERIOD. UPR JET IN FAVORABLE POSITION FOR LIFT. SHOULD BE HIGH POPS TONIGHT AS STRONG/SVR TSRA CONTINUE ACROSS CWA. MOISTURE REMAINS HIGH AND WIND FIELD REMAINS STRONG EVEN THOUGH INSTABILITY LESSENS A LITTLE. WITH FNT SAGGING A LITTLE FARTHER SWD...MAY WANT A LITTLE LOWER POPS SAT NRN TIER. HIGH CHC POPS ELSEWHERE AND OTHER TIMES. FAN STILL TOO COOL. COOLING ADVERTISED BY FWC MAY BE TOO MUCH...ESP SINCE THICKNESSES DO NOT FALL MUCH EVEN ACROSS NC. CLOUDS AND PRECIP WOULD LOWER TEMPS SOMEWHAT. FWC STILL WAY TO GO.
