INTO WRN NC. 12Z RAOBS AND STABILITY CHART SHOW MOISTURE/INSTABILITY
AXIS ACROSS NC. HAD ACCAS THIS MORNING AT THE STATION. SFC FNT HAS MOVED
INTO SC BUT BULGING NWD IN TN. SHOULD BE LOTS OF ACITIVITY TODAY. WILL
HAVE TO KEEP AN EYE ON THE RADAR. CURRENT POPS LOOKING GOOD.

LOTS OF CONVECTIVE DEBRIS ACROSS/MOVING INTO NC ATTM. ALREADY HAVE
COOLER TEMPS FCST ACROSS NRN TIER. GOT A WARM START ACROSS CWA TODAY.

A STATIONARY FRONT WILL REMAIN OVER THE CAROLINAS TODAY...WHILE AN UPPER
LEVEL DISTURBANCE APPROACHES FROM TENNESSEE. WARM...MOIST AIR ALONG AND
SOUTH OF THE FRONT WILL SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS
THE WESTERN CAROLINAS AND NORTHEAST GEORGIA TODAY. SOME OF THESE STORMS
WILL BE SEVERE...PRODUCING LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS. THE THREAT
WILL BE GREATEST LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND THIS EVENING AS THE UPPER
LEVEL DISTURBANCE ENTERS THE AREA.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL LIKELY BE NEEDED LATE THIS AFTERNOON. RESIDENTS
