IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS ...FREESTONE COUNTY...LIMESTONE COUNTY...NAVARRO COUNTY IN NORTHEAST TEXAS ...ANDERSON COUNTY...HENDERSON COUNTY OCCASIONAL LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN WILL CONTINUE OVER THE FLOOD WARNING AREA THIS MORNING. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS BETWEEN 1/2 AND 1 INCH CAN BE EXPECTED. BECAUSE THE GROUND IS SATURATED FROM RECENT HEAVY RAINS...ANY ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL RUN OFF QUICKLY INTO ALREADY SWOLLEN STREAMS...CREEKS...AND OTHER AREAS PRONE TO FLOODING. NUMEROUS HIGHWAYS...FARM TO MARKET ROADS...AND COUNTY ROADS REMAIN CLOSED BY HIGH WATER...AND THESE CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO PERSIST THROUGH NOON. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. MOST DEATHS IN FLASH FLOODING OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.
