THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN COLUMBIA SC HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  SUMTER COUNTY IN SOUTH CAROLINA

* UNTIL 845 PM EDT 

* AT 735 PM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED A SEVERE 
  THUNDERSTORM NEAR THE KERSHAW-SUMTER COUNTY LINE. MOVEMENT 
  WAS SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH. THIS STORM WILL PRODUCE LARGE HAIL 
  AND DAMAGING WINDS.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE NEAR...
  REMBERT  AT 755 PM
  SUMTER AT 825 PM

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES 
WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO 
RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
