THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBANY HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EXTREME SOUTHWESTERN RENSSELAER COUNTY IN EASTERN NEW YORK
  
* UNTIL 130 AM EDT

* THIS EVENING...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR
  INDICATED A THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER SOUTHWESTERN
  RENSSELAER COUNTY...MOVING NORTH AT 10 MPH.

* SOME MINOR FLOODING WAS REPORTED BY LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES NEAR
  SCHODACK LANDING EARLIER THIS EVENING.  THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE
  TO DEVELOP OVER COLUMBIA COUNTY AND WILL MOVE OVER SOUTHWEST
  RENSSELAER COUNTY CAUSING ADDITIONAL FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS AND
  ROADWAYS.  DON'T DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD!

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...
ACT \QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS
SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT
AT NIGHT TO TELL HOW MUCH WATER IS ON ROADS. MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT
DRIVE THROUGH WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH.
