000 TTAA00 KTUL 280305 RRA SVRTUL OKC041-097-280345- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK 903 PM CST THU MAR 27 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 945 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA ...DELAWARE COUNTY...EASTERN MAYES COUNTY AT 902 PM...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER CENTRAL MAYES COUNTY NEAR JUST WEST OF SALINA. THE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR. THE STORM WILL MOVE NEAR SPAVINAW AND PENSACOLA...AND EVENTUALLY INTO WESTERN DELAWARE COUNTY NEAR CHLOETA AND CHEROKEE STATE PARK BY 930 PM. HAIL TO THE SIZE OF GOLFBALLS AND WIND GUSTS TO 65 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE WARNED AREA. DURING THE STORM MOVE INDOORS AND STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
