000 TTAA00 KTUL 280053 RRA TORTUL OKC037-280145- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK 651 PM CST THU MAR 27 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 745 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA ...CREEK COUNTY AT 650 PM...RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO 6 MILES SOUTHWEST OF DEPEW. THIS STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH...AND WILL BE NEAR DEPEW BY 7 PM...AND NEAR BRISTOW BY 710 PM. PEOPLE IN DEPEW AND BRISTOW ARE ADVISED TO TAKE COVER NOW! THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION. ACT QUICKLY. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR POSSIBLE. STAY AWAY FROM OUTSIDE WALLS AND AVOID WINDOWS.
