991 WUUS1 KRDU 021759 RRA SVRRDU NCC105-021830- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RALEIGH/DURHAM NC 157 PM EDT MON JUN 2 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RALEIGH/DURHAM HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 230 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTH CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA ...EASTERN LEE COUNTY AT 155 PM...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN WESTERN LEE COUNTY. THIS STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH. THE STORM SHOULD REACH THE CITY OF BROADWAY ABOUT 215 PM. THIS STORM HAS ALREADY PRODUCED LARGE HAIL AND SEVERAL LIGHTNING FIRES. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. DAMAGE HAS ALREADY BEEN REPORTED.
