IN SOUTH CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA ...LEE COUNTY NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR HAS DETECTED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ON THE LEE/MOORE COUNTY LINE IN SOUTH LEE COUNTY...TWO MILES EAST OF HIGHWAY US1. THIS STORM IS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR. STORMS EARLIER IN MOORE COUNTY PRODUCED POWER OUTAGES AND DOWNED TREES.
