FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTHWEST ALABAMA
 
   ...CHOCTAW COUNTY...CLARKE COUNTY...WASHINGTON COUNTY

NWS DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR IN MOBILE,AL INDICATES THAT BETWEEN 4 AND 8 IN
EOF RAIN HAS FALLEN DURING THE PAST 24 HOURS OVER PORTIONS
OF WAYNE COUNTY MISSISSIPPI AND CHOCTAW...CLARKE AND WASHINGTON COUNTIES
OF SOUTHWEST ALABAMA. IN ADDITION...UP TO THREE INCHES OF RAIN HAS
FALLEN SINCE 3 PM WITHIN THESE AREAS.
 
AN ADDITIONAL ONE TO THREE INCHES OF RAIN CAN BE EXPECTED FROM EXISTING 
OTHROUGH 9 PM...WITH MORE STORMS CONTINUING TO DEVELOP AND MOVE INTO THE
REGION FROM THE WEST BETWEEN 9 PM AND MIDNIGHT.
 
IT MUST BE EMPHASIZED THAT STORM MOTION WILL BE FROM WEST TO EAST AND
AROUND 10 MPH OR LESS...WHICH MEANS THAT STORMS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE
REPEATEDLY OVER THE SAME AREA.  LOW LYING AREAS CAN BE EXPECTED TO BE
INUNDATED WITH WATER ...AND SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS WILL FLOW OUT OF
THEIR BANKS.
 
 
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
