IN NORTHEASTERN MISSISSIPPI ...LEE COUNTY AT 1158 PM...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WITH DAMAGING WINDS NEAR TROY. THE STORM WILL MOVE NORTHEAST AT 55 MPH AND AFFECT TUPELO AND VERONA BETWEEN 1210 AND 1215 AM. .A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE W6ARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
