000 TTAA00 KMEM 270415 RRA SVRMEM MSC161-270505- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MEMPHIS TN 1016 PM CST WED FEB 26 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MEMPHIS TN HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1105 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHWESTERN MISSISSIPPI ...YALOBUSHA COUNTY AT 1012 PM...DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ENTERING THE SOUTHWESTERN PART OF YALOBUSHA COUNTY. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 60 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL AFFECT COFFEEVILLE BY 1020 PM. DAMAGING WINDS ARE LIKELY WITH THESE STORMS. .A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER...SEJVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
