IN CENTRAL MISSOURI ...NORTHEASTERN CALLAWAY COUNTY AT 240 AM CDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A NARROW LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS FROM 35 MILES NORTHEAST OF COLUMBIA SOUTHEASTWARD TO JUST NORTHWEST OF UNION...OR ABOUT 50 MILES SOUTHWEST OF ST LOUIS. NEW STORMS HAVE FORMED WEST OF MEXICO MISSOURI...AND WILL MOVE SOUTHEAST VERY SLOWLY INTO NORTHEASTERN HALF OF CALLAWAY COUNTY..CROSSING INTERSTATE 70 EAST OF KINGDOM CITY. BLINDING RAIN WILL ACCOMPANY THESE STORMS. RAINFALL AMOUNTS COULD EXCEED 3 TO 4 INCHES IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME.
