IN CENTRAL MISSOURI ...BOONE COUNTY AT 530 AM A SOLID AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS HAD MOVED WESTWARD TO ENCOMPASS MOST OF BOONE COUNTY. RAIN WILL BE HEAVY AT TIME THROUGH MID MORNING. COPIOUS RAINFALL COULD OCCUR IN A VERY SHORT TIME CAUSING SIGNIFICANT FLOODING IN SOME AREAS. THE STORMS ARE MOVING ONLY VERY SLOWLY. BE PREPARED FOR LOCAL FLOODING AND PONDING ON ROADWAYS.
