AT 1105 AM CST...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY RADAR MOVING
FROM JEFFERSON INTO NORTHERN PLAQUIMINES PARISH...JUST SOUTHWEST OF
BELLE CHASSE. THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST AROUND 20 MILES AN HOUR AND
WILL MOVE INTO ST. BERNARD PARISH EAST OF BELLE CHASSE AROUND 1120 AM.
 
THIS STORM DOWNED A TREE ACROSS A ROAD IN PARADIS IN ST. CHARLES
PARISH AROUND 1020 AM.
 
IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A
STRONG BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.
