000 TTAA00 KNEW 300126 RRA SVRNEW LAC117-300215- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NEW ORLEANS LA 724 PM CST SAT MAR 29 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NEW ORLEANS HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 815 PM CST FOR RESIDENTS IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA ...NORTHERN WASHINGTON PARISH AT 720 PM CST...RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER NORTHERN WASHINGTON PARISH NEAR THE COMMUNITY OF CLIFTON...OR ABOUT 10 MILES NORTH OF FRANKLINTON. THIS STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH. THE PRIMARY THREAT WITH THIS THUNDERSTORM IS LARGE HAIL. THE COMMUNITIES OF PINE AND SHERIDAN ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM.
