IN SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI ...FORREST COUNTY AT 511 PM CDT THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR AT JACKSON INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ABOUT 5 MILES SOUTHWEST OF BROOKLYN. THIS STORM WAS MOVING SOUTH AT NEAR 20 MPH. THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IS CAPAPBLE OF PRODUCING BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL THAT MAY CAUSE POOLING OF WATER IN LOW-LYING PLACES OR FLASH FLOODS.
