IN EAST CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI ...NEWTON COUNTY AT 300 PM RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM FOUR MILES WEST OF DECATUR. IT WAS MOVING SOUTH AT 20 MILES AN HOUR. THE COMMUNITY OF NEWTON WILL BE AFFECTED BY 310 PM. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
