FLOOD WARNING FOR URBAN AREAS AND SMALL STREAMS EFFECTIVE UNTIL
1200 MIDNIGHT EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN CENTRAL OHIO

   ...DELAWARE COUNTY
 
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DUMPED HEAVY RAINS ACROSS DELAWARE
COUNTY THIS EVENING. THE HEAVIEST RAIN HAS FALLEN ACROSS THE
SOUTHWEST PART OF THE COUNTY WHERE DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATE
UP TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN SINCE 8 PM EDT.

THE RAIN IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS
WITH RAINFALL RATES OF UP TO ONE TO TWO INCHES POSSIBLE PER HOUR.
THIS WILL RESULT IN FLOODING...ESPECIALLY ALONG SMALLER CREEKS AND
IN LOW LYING AREAS.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEBHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED
QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
