000 TTAA00 KATL 170031 RRA SVRATL GAC143-223-170115- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PEACHTREE CITY GA 829 PM EDT WED JUL 16 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PEACHTREE CITY HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 915 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTHWEST GEORGIA ...HARALSON COUNTY...PAULDING COUNTY AT 828 PM EDT WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED A CLUSTER OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS BETWEEN BUCHANAN AND DALLAS. THE STORMS WERE DRIFTING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 5 MPH. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
