000 TTAA00 KATL 250444 RRA SVRATL GAC187-250515- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PEACHTREE CITY GA 1144 PM EST FRI JAN 24 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PEACHTREE CITY HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1215 AM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHEAST GEORGIA ...LUMPKIN COUNTY NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST NORTH OF DAWSONVILLE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH. THIS STORM LIKELY CONTAINS LARGE HAIL. THE STORM SHOULD MOVE ACROSS THE DAHLONEGA AREA AROUND MIDNIGHT. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLTY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
