000 TTAA00 KATL 250200 RRA SVRATL GAC223-250245- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PEACHTREE CITY GA 900 PM EST FRI JAN 24 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PEACHTREE CITY HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 945 PM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHWEST GEORGIA ...PAULDING COUNTY A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NORTHEAST OF BUCHANAN WAS MOVING ACROSS THE HARALSON/PAULDING COUNTY LINE. THE STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH. THIS WILL TAKE THE STORM ACROSS YORKVILLE BY 910 PM AND ACROSS BRASWELL BY 925 PM. THE STORM SHOULD PASS NORTH OF DALLAS. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER TSEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
