THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  345 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...SOUTHERN VAL VERDE COUNTY
 
A STRONG THUNDERSTORM MOVING ACROSS SOUTHERN VAL VERDE COUNTY HAS
PRODUCED OVER ONE INCH OF RAIN IN THE LAST HOUR. LOW WATER CROSSINGS AND
LOW LYING AREAS ARE LIKELY ALREADY FLOODED. ADDITIONAL RAIN IN THE NEXT
HOUR WILL INCREASE THE THREAT OF FLOODING.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
 
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED
ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
