000 TTAA00 KSAT 090227 RRA TORSAT TXC465-090330- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO TX 926 PM CDT SUN JUN 8 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1030 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS ...VAL VERDE COUNTY AT 930 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A TORNADIC THUNDERSTORM 15 MILES WEST OF THE VAL VERDE COUNTY LINE JUST NORTH OF THE RIO GRANDE RIVER. THIS STORM WAS MOVING EAST SOUTHEAST AT 15 TO 20 MPH. THIS STORM WILL ENTER VAL VERDE COUNTY ALONG HIGHWAY 90 AROUND 10 PM AND APPROACH LANGTRY AROUND 1015 PM. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. PEOPLE IN OR NEAR THE PATH OF THIS STORM SHO DTAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION TO PROTECT THEIR LIVES. GO TO THE CENTER ON THE L EFLOOR OF YOUR BUILDING...COVER YOUR HEAD.
