THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CORPUS CHRISTI HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  600 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY......
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...NUECES COUNTY
 
AT 150 AM CDT CORPUS CHRISTI DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED SCATTERED TO
NUMEROUS SHOWERS ACROSS NUECES COUNTY. MOVEMENT WAS TO THE NORTHWEST
AT 15 MPH.
 
THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL WAS LOCATED NEAR BISHOP AND DRISCOLL AND AT THE
CORPUS CHRISTI AIRPORT.  RAINFALL RATES FOR THE PAST HOUR WERE
ESTIMATED AT 1 TO 2 INCHES IN THESE AREAS.
 
WITH THE GROUND SATURATED FROM PREVIOUS RAINFALL FLOODING WILL
RESULT VERY QUICLY.  IF YOU OBSERVE FLOODING BE READY TO MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND QUICKLY.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGH GROUND. DO NOT STAY IN
AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
