IN SOUTH CAROLINA ...NORTHERN ORANGEBURG COUNTY WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ABOUT 10 MILES NORTH OF THE TOWN OF ORANGEBURG NEAR THE CALHOUN COUNTY LINE. THIS STORM WAS MOVING SOUTH AT 15 MPH. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
