419 WUUS1 KCAE 100052 SVRCAE SCC055-110130- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC 851 PM EDT THU JUL 10 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN COLUMBIA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 930 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTH CAROLINA ...EASTERN KERSHAW COUNTY WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST WEST OF BETHUNE IN EASTERN KERSHAW COUNTY. THIS STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT NEAR 20 MPH. THIS STORM WILL MOVE OVER THE TOWN OF BETHUNE BETWEEN 900 PM AND 915 PM. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
