000 TTAA00 KBIS 010342 RRA SVRBIS NDC021-010445- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BISMARCK ND 1041 PM CDT SUN AUG 31 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BISMARCK HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1145 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA ...DICKEY COUNTY AT 1035 PM CDT DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM 45 MILES SOUTHWEST OF JAMESTOWN NEAR KULM TO 35 MILES SOUTH OF JAMESTOWN. THE STORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH. SOME TOWNS NEAR THE PATH OF THE STORMS INCLUDE MERRICOURT..MONANGO.. FULLERTON SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TNORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS. LEBLANG
