000 TTAA00 KBIS 010206 RRA SVRBIS NDC043-010315- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BISMARCK ND 906 PM CDT SUN AUG 31 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BISMARCK HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1015 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA ...SOUTHERN KIDDER COUNTY AT 9 PM CDT A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDED FROM 30 MILES EAST OF BISMARCK TO 55 MILES EAST OF BISMARCK. THE LINE IS MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH. PERSONS IN THE TOWNS OF STEELE...DAWSON AND TAPPEN SHOULD SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY. DUE TO THE TRAINING EFFECT OF THIS LINE...VERY HEAVY RAIN WILL CAUSE SOME LOCAL FLOODING.
