THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BISMARCK HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  915 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN NORTHWEST NORTH DAKOTA
 
   ...SOUTHERN MOUNTRAIL COUNTY
 
AT 815 PM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED 44 MILES SOUTHWEST OF
MINOT OR BETWEEN NEW TOWN AND BELDEN. THE STORM WAS VERY SLOW MOVING AND
FLOODING HAS BEEN REPORTED BETWEEN STANLEY AND NEW TOWN. THIS STRONG
STORM IS ALSO CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LARGE HAIL. MOVEMENT WAS EAST AT
UNDER 10 MPH.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES
WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.  REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO
RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
 
THIS SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORM MAY CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
STREAMS AND UNDERPASSES.
